Message from Mrs Farrant

Hi Fireflies,

What have you been doing this week? I hope that you have been having fun.

This week Percy and I decided to thread some beads onto string. We made a colourful bracelet.

Would you like to make one too? If you don’t have beads you could use pasta and string.

I hope that you have a lovely week!

Message for Fireflies

Hello Fireflies,

We hope you are all well. Have you seen the message from your Reception teacher? We have had a chat with them about how wonderful you all are. They are very excited to meet you in September.

We have been busy working in school this week. Have a look at what we have been up to…

Mrs Wyld has been taking down all your lovely work and we are keeping it safe until we can give it back to you.

Miss Davis is sorting through the toys ready for September

Have a lovely weekend and keep safe.

Message to Fireflies

Hello Fireflies,

Hope you are all well. Did you enjoy the story ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’? It is so funny when the animals and the children fall out of the boat- they might remember to listen next time.

Thank you for helping Miss Kinsella and her son James blend the sounds together- she could hear you calling out the words!

Did you enjoy predicting which objects would float or sink with Mrs Lamb? Have you tried different objects? You could try a sponge.

Have a look at the sunflower plants Miss Kinsella planted. They are growing well. She is going to plant them in the ground and hopefully they will grow into beautiful sunflowers.

Have a lovely weekend!

Love from,

Miss Kinsella, Mrs Wyld, Mrs Adams, Miss Davis and Mrs Lamb

Hi Fireflies,

I hope that you have had a busy week. It has been great to see all of your learning on Tapestry. Well done!

This week Percy and I decided to try origami. We were inspired by the pictures you sent in of some animals you had made using paper and the Language of the Month blog post. I made some origami shapes and Percy made a fish. Did you manage to make any origami animals? What is your favourite animal?

Have a lovely week!

From Mrs Farrant and Percy
